Footbinding, literally “bound feet”, was an early form of cosmetic surgery practiced on young females for approximately one thousand years in China, beginning in the 10th century and ending in the early 20th century. In Chinese foot binding, young girls’ feet, usually at age 6 but often earlier, were wrapped in tight bandages so that they could not grow and develop normally; they would, instead, break and become highly deformed, not growing past 4-6 inches (10-15 cm).

Just few days ago, a TV news channel reported the birth of a baby at Franciscan Skemp Medical Center in La Crosse. Chuck Berendes and his wife were surprised to know that their baby was born at exactly 9:09 on 9/9/09 and weighs 9 lbs, 9 ounces.

Are there other babies born in same-number combination?

Meet Xander Riniker, born at 8:08 a.m. on August 8, 2008 and weighs 8 pounds, 8 ounces. Xander was born at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

They are amazing stunts for the viewers, but certainly the stunts do not look pleasant for the person doing the act. Have you seen photos of the most painful stunts? OMG, you can only ask if these people are still sane…
