There was an email hoax before showing a list of IQ for the U.S. Presidents. The list showed Bill Clinton having the highest IQ (182) among all Presidents in U.S. history and George W. Bush having the lowest (91). But it was a fake list generated by a non-existing Lovenstein Institute.

However, in 2006, a study called “Presidential IQ, Openness, Intellectual Brilliance, and Leadership: Estimates and Correlations for 42 U.S. Chief Executives” published in the “Political Psychology” journal, estimated the IQs for all US presidents.

Here is the list of the Top 10 Highest IQs among US Presidents, averaged from two periods of biographical data, the first from birth to age 17 and the second from age 18 to age 26:

1. John Quincy Adams (1825-1829) — IQ = 175.0

Guess IQ doesn’t = success. Clinton and Carter were idiots who screwed the economy. How can they be so bad with a high IQ? GW Bush fixed the economy but had one of the lowest IQs

First 130 for GW Bush puts him in the top 4% of humanity. Considering that low is ludicrous. 2nd JFK being close to Einsteins IQ IS EQUALLY ludicrous. This is certainly liberal bias coupled with the feelings of hero worship attributed to such a pop star. All of these IQs are inflated. CLINTON is smarter than Einstein? Come on. The guy spread his sperm all over the most sacred office in the world with a child working for free. That is the mark of idiot. To judge a man based off his writings and speeches, as many of these are shows a lack of intelligence in itself when much of what they say and write is coached
