The African Wild Dog is not a domestic breed of dog. It’s a wild canine species, like the timber wolf or coyote, etc. They are endangered and should never be kept in captivity or as pets.

The African Wild Dog isn’t even a canine, it’s a canid like foxes. Foxes and the African Wild Dog aren’t canines, but canines are canids.
